Dr Vincent Nadin

Vincent Nadin has recently retired.

Vincent was a Professor Emeritus of Spatial Planning and Strategy and former Head of the Department at TU Delft. The Department worked collaboratively bringing spatial planning together with urban design, landscape architecture, environmental technology and geoinformation. It promoted an ‘integrated urbanism’ that combines rigorous scholarship and research with the creativity of a designerly approach. Staff, students, and partners from across the world make the Spatial Planning Group and the Department an inspiring and lively place to study.

As a retired professor, Vincent continues to be involved in research and education projects and supervise PhD candidates. He has written about town and country planning in the UK and European spatial planning. He is learning about planning in Asia, especially through his work as a visiting professor at South China University of Technology.
