Dr Arie Romein

Arie Romein has recently retired.  He was a researcher and lecturer at the Dept. of Urbanism, Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, with research themes including urban theory and urban socio-spatial and economic development and policy.

Topics of his special interest include: socio-spatial inequality and cultural & creative clusters. A considerable part of his lecturing was on academic skills and quantitative methods of empirical research. Besides, I tutor some five student graduation projects annually. He is experienced in working in international EU cooperation projects (EU INTERREG, 7th Framework, H2020). His tasks in these international projects entail research and project management.
