His research work focuses on intersections between spatial planning, urban regeneration, governance and residential area design, and how planning tools and participation address spatial characteristics in cities.

My past and present offer a critical approach to understanding participatory outcomes in planning, focusing on three main areas. Firstly, I explore the role of planning and policy in generating spatial characteristics. Secondly, I examine the participatory dimensions of planning tools and urban design. Finally, my recent research has focused on the planning and design of affordable and cooperative housing in different cities. I am passionate about the ability of public, private and social partnerships to create innovative solutions and experiences.

I strive to study practical strategies that allow social groups, communities, as well as public and private sectors to advance by creating sustainable ties with their stakeholders through collaboration.I am currently a PhD researcher in the Department of Urbanism at TU Delft. Previously, I was practicing as a community architect to facilitate various co-production and collaborative housing projects together with community members in Taiwan.
